Privacy Policy

This policy explains what information Perpixy ("we", "us") collects when you use perpixy.com, why we collect it, and what you can do about it. We keep it short and plain. If anything is unclear, email us at [email protected].

What we collect

• Account details: your name, email address, password (stored only as a secure hash, never in readable form) and, if you give it, your country.
• Social accounts you add: the platform, your username and the follower count you enter.
• Your activity: the jobs you take, the links to posts you submit, their status, and a record of every payment, earning and withdrawal on your account.
• Payout details: the PayPal email or bank account (IBAN) you enter when you ask to withdraw.
• Brand campaign details: for brand accounts, campaign content, budgets and credit added.
• Technical data: like any website, our servers and our network provider receive your IP address and basic browser information when you visit. This is used for security and to keep the site running.

We don't ask for your social media passwords and we don't read your private messages.

How we use it

• To run your account and show you jobs that match your social accounts.
• To check that submitted posts exist, come from your account and include the required tags. For X and TikTok we look up the public post using the platform's public embed service, which means the post link is sent to that platform.
• To pay you, and to keep accurate records of money moving through the platform.
• To send you account emails, such as email confirmation and password reset links.
• To prevent fraud and abuse, such as fake accounts or posts deleted after payment.

We don't sell your personal information, and we don't use it for third-party advertising.

What brands can see

When you take a brand's job, that brand can see your social username, your follower count, the link to your post and its status. Brands don't see your email address, payout details or your other activity.

Cookies

We use one cookie to keep you logged in. We don't use advertising or analytics cookies. Our network provider, Cloudflare, may set a cookie needed for security.

Services we use

We rely on a few providers to run Perpixy. They only get the information they need to do their job:

• Vultr hosts our servers and database (Amsterdam, the Netherlands).
• Cloudflare delivers and protects the website and forwards emails sent to our addresses.
• Resend sends account emails such as confirmation and password reset links.
• Social platforms (such as X and TikTok) receive the links of posts we check, as described above.

Some of these providers may process data outside your country, including in the United States.

How long we keep it

We keep your account information while your account is open. Records of payments and withdrawals may be kept longer where the law requires us to (for example, for tax and accounting). Database backups are kept for up to 14 days.

Your choices and rights

You can ask us to show you the information we hold about you, correct it, or delete your account. Depending on where you live (for example in the EU, UK or California), you may have further rights, such as objecting to certain uses or taking a copy of your data. Email [email protected] from the address on your account and we'll respond within 30 days. You can also complain to your local data protection authority.

Security

Passwords are stored as one-way hashes, connections are encrypted, and email links for confirming or resetting are single-use and expire. No system is perfectly secure, so please use a strong password you don't use elsewhere.

Children

Perpixy is for people aged 18 and over. We don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.

Changes

If we change this policy we'll update the date at the top, and for important changes we'll let you know by email or on the site. See also our Terms of Service.
